Kambaba Jasper, also known as Crocodile Jasper, is an extremely old stone, dating back to 3 billion years ago. This is actually not a true Jasper - it is actually a fossil, but is generally referred to by stone collectors as a Jasper. The stone is classified as a stomatolite (for all my witch nerds), that comes from a chunk of fossilized algae.
 
Kambaba is found in South Africa, Madagascar and the small sea that divides these two countries.

Note: I find this stone interrupts my sleep if I have it in my bedroom. A little too energetic for a bedside table, but I love it in my office.
 
To clear stones and crystals of energies and charge it with your intention:
Use sea salt - burying the stone in the salt over night
Put the stones into direct, full sunlight for a day or two
Use sage, Palo Santo or other ritual clearing smoke to clear the crystal
Use Reiki energy to clear and re-energize your crystal
