Wood Base for Incense, Unscented Wood Base, Incense Powdered Wood
Making homemade incense using essential oils and herbs is a creative way of expressing your own taste and personality in your craft. Using the oils and herbs you like the best makes your own personal incense blend special and completely unique to you.
Making incense is quite easy, and is detailed in a post on our blog here: How to make your own incense with essential oils herbs and powdered wood
To make incense, simply use a teaspoon or two of the wood base, and add a few drops of essential oil. To enjoy, burn on match lite charcoal. Alternately, you can add powdered herbs and resins to the wood as additives.
Back label has a couple of sample recipes.
NOTE: This base is made from powdered yellow Sandalwood. It does NOT smell like sandalwood in my opinion, but smells of powdered basic wood. It is a great base for making incense, but is not incense in its own right. You need to add other herbs and/or essential oils to this to make a nice smelling incense.
